German cars in Ukraine will continue to grow after 2021

The data show that the share of German cars in Ukraine will continue to grow.

In 2020, the Ukrainian car fleet grew by 463 thousand new and used cars. 28% of cars are German. Statistics show that the domestic car fleet has grown by only 4%, and the number of German cars has grown by as much as 9%.

The positive dynamics persists for 15 years in a row. In 2006, the share of German cars in Ukraine was 10% (596,425 units). The same share was in 2011 (of more than 821,780 units). In 2016, the share increased to 12% (1,054,298 units). At the beginning of 2021, German cars occupied 15% of the Ukrainian fleet, with 1540,149 units.
